Sparkling into Football Season

There's are many times since Sydney has passed away that I wish she was here. Little rituals that we had started, and memories that we had shared have all changed.

Opening football season is one of those rituals. Even though they were really little we started them early with Patriots and Denver Broncos gear. Yes..Shane is a Denver Broncos Fans so this house was  always divided. Both kids were both team fans, but I secretly encouraged all the Patriots gear.

Yesterday was hard as only Logan was in his Patriots gear. No little diva in her pink patriots shirt, and her matching converse. It bothers me so much that she can't enjoy the game with her brother, and be here with us as we watch the game as a family. 

This football season will definitely be hard, and each game that passes we will sure think of Syd. We all miss her very much and I would do anything to have her back.

All we can do is enjoy the games, spend time with friends that are family, and root for the Patriots to win. Here's to a good football season! Go Pats!!!
