It's often hard to find the words that express how you really feel. When your given a chance to create a moment you don't think of how it's going to make you feel- you just do it. When we took our new "family photo" the emotions were real. We were happy, enjoying life, and making memories. For me a picture is worth a 1000 words. This picture that was taken by Maggie Jill Photography captures the way we felt in that moment. As the sun was shining above us, and the laughter, and kisses flowed we knew this is what we had to do. We knew Syd was there watching us as she always is.
It's hard...hard beyond words, and often I feel bad for expressing my emotions in such a "raw" way, but to me it's how I get by. In an instance our whole life has changed, and we instantly had to figure out a new norm. Sometimes it isn't easy, but at the end of the day we do our best.
This is real life, and real moments that are created, as we move forward one day and one sparkle at a time.
