Our Mission to Sparkle

It is often very hard to express the feelings that you have when losing a child. There are no words to express how your heart feels when the most beautiful thing that you have is taken away from you in a second. 

Since Sydney has passed away I knew that she was too "perfect" to not spread her "spunkyness" to everyone she was going to meet. As Sydneys mom I knew she was destined to do great things, and at such a young age would leave a legacy that would make her "sparkle" forever. 

It was really difficult to narrow down a mission for Sydney Craven Memorial Fund, but with the help of our team we have come up with a mission that we are proud of. A mission that will hopefully carry on forever.

Sydney was such a special little girl who was just taken to early; although she is gone I know that she would want nothing more than to help others, share the sparkle, and to reach out to children so they can be the best they can be. 

As Sydneys Mom and the president of Sydney Craven Memorial Fund I am proud to introduce the mission. This is the start of big things Sydneys Fund, and it's our hope that we can reach out to as many people as we can to help them achieve that sparkle that lies inside.

The Sydney Craven Memorial Fund is working to help children and families throughout Massachusetts achieve happiness through activities and organizations that promote individuality, growth, and self-discovery while exploring the importance of self-esteem enhancement through targeted opportunities. The Sydney Craven Memorial Fund enables scholarship funding for activities that help children "sparkle" by finding what makes them happy and being the best version of themselves.

What does "sparkle mean": sparkle means to shine brightly with sparkles of light. To be vivacious and witty. It is our hope that the Sydney Craven Memorial Fund that children and families are able to provide opportunities for their children to explore, grow, and sparkle through activities such as dance, sports, theater, drama, singing, the arts, and much more.

As we move forward each day I can't express the amount of gratitude we have for everyone that has reached out and continues to support. Our hope is that the sparkle will ALWAYS live on, and will be spread forever.
